Experienced performer Faerie Willow is nothing like so hesitant in real life, of course – but the storyline here is drawn from some of Blake's own early experiences, ones that are echoed in the lives of many in the community. Backstage was the usual mix of negotiation, reminiscence and laughter – and for cast and crew alike there's something a little bit special about this series.
