Margaret Hale

Margaret edited a small print newsletter on the English spanking scene for most of the 2000s, back when reviews travelled by post in plain brown envelopes. She joined the catalog as senior editor in 2013 and still writes every schoolroom and caning entry herself. Her yardstick is authenticity: proper six-of-the-best pacing, believable scolding, a cane that actually bends. She has interviewed more retired headmistress performers than anyone else on staff and is quietly building an oral history of the British studios of the nineties.
