Matilda’s Mum Confronts Headmistress Over Harsh Caning – At Home with Miss Iceni

Matilda's Mum drags her to see the Headmistress, but not because she is angry with Matilda– she is angry with the Headmistress! Matilda has come home with cane marks, and has admitted to taking the cane at school, but she claims it was just for failing to hand in her homework.
